MARKHOR is unique in the way we decided to grow the company.
Our expertise gives us advantage in three core fields.
This allows us to bring exceptional solutions to the market,
which is what sets MARKHOR bikes in a class of their own.
We begin the designing process with a sketch, which is consistent with the rest of our products and their aesthetic qualities. We treat our bikes like the small pieces of art that they are. We avoid compromises in the design, and strive to achieve a finished product that is equally fast and beautiful.
All companies have quality control, but to us quality is extra important as we view it as the main pillar of our work. Each person producing a single piece of the frame is a master of their work and passionate about it, too. The quality comes through in every aspect of our activity; every piece of the frame is made in-house.
We are proud of the structure of our carbon fibre weave. While many companies cover up the imperfections of their far east-made products with paint, we take pride in our perfect twill weave. We avoid using fully covering paintjobs, and encourage our customers to choose a raw finish or a 50/50 hybrid paint with the weave peeking through.
We only work with the strongest, high modulus fibres, used in the automotive industry. We use our own solution based on polymer reinforcement (vectran), adding durability to the finished product.
Our suspension systems are very high performance, are renowned in the mountain biking community and well acclaimed. MARKHOR stays ahead of the curve by implementing pioneering technological solutions.
An essential part of the finished product is the paint scheme.
We always encourage our customers to allow the carbon fibre weave peek through the paint,
to appreciate the work going into laying the final fibre layer and preserving its pleasing aesthetics.
The added colours will highlight the character of the bike and give it the personal touch in line with the customer’s taste.
For us, it is extremely precious to have the customer with us all the way through their bike’s production process.
Choosing the concept, preparing the colours, design visualization and finally their ability to see the framebeing built in our workshop, all give the process a new dimension.
